Who Are We?

The GirlTalk Magazine is dedicated to empowering young women and girls to start and spread the discussion of important topics surrounding intersectional feminism, gender & sexuality, and other related issues through our bimonthly magazine. GirlTalk is a space for people to share new perspectives and art that they may not be able to share elsewhere, as well as seek new opinions to be informed in gender related issues around the globe. With articles from diverse voices covering a wide range of topics and perspectives, GirlTalk is an international magazine completely run and organized by high school students. We welcome critical and constructive discussion of gender

Where Are We Now?

Since its inception, The GirlTalk Magazine has expanded its middle and high school staff of writers, artists, and contributors around to the world, and has continued to tackle important gender, sexuality, and intersectional feminist issues. The magazine was created in 2017 by former high school students Charlotte Kramon and Eunice Park. Now, under the leadership of Oakwood School senior Lily Kramon, Sacred Heart sophomore Kate Ragatz and Fieldston sophomore Eve Kaplan, what once was a crazy vision to expand GirlTalk’s international network is now reality. With over 35 issues published and hundreds of articles written, The GirlTalk Magazine has become an integral part of many young activists’ lives.
